Benefits of Exercise & Healthy Ageing:

·      Strengthen bones and muscles
·      Improve balance and reduce risk of falls
·      Prevent and manage chronic diseases
·      Improve mental health and emotional well-being
·      PLUS MORE…

Despite the benefits of exercise & healthy ageing, it is believed just 1 in 4 adults over the age of 65 are meeting the exercise requirements.

But…. How much exercise?

Australia’s National Guidelines Physical Activity Guidelines suggest older people should do some form of physical activity. It is recommended older people exercise at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity on most, if not all, days.

That sounds like a lot, doesn’t it?…. If you are unable to do 30 minutes, we recommend you start with 10 minute blocks and gradually build your exercise time up to 30 minutes. Getting Started!
