No, many clients choose to see us privately and do not require a referral.
If your appointment relies on any third party funding (Workcover, CTP Insurance, DVA, and Medicare), then an appropriate referral from your GP will be required to process payment for your appointment.
We pride ourselves on taking the time to meet you, listen to your story, discuss your goals and work with you to develop an individualised treatment plan to help you get the best outcome.
All initial appointments are 45mins-1hour, and follow up appointments are 30mins-1 hour.
This depends… on your goals and individual health needs. We understand that meaningful change to lifestyle and health behaviour can take time (sometimes, weeks or months), and is challenging to achieve with little support. This is usually why our EP’s will work closely with you, and aim to book your consults frequently in the first few weeks, before spacing them out as you gain momentum and independence.
We pride ourselves on the value we bring to our clients, such as our extended consultation times. We also value our team and the time they spend on preparing treatment plans outside of the consultation.
We are not a bulk-billed service, however patients with a Chronic Disease Management Plan may be eligible to claim rebates from Medicare for their Exercise Physiology treatment sessions.
